Shell joins her twin brother in SBU Athletics Hall of Fame
When talking about 91³Ô¹ÏÍø track and field, if the last name Shell sounds familiar - it should. Emma Shell, one of three SBU Athletics Hall of Fame inductees for 2021, joins her twin brother, Bill '14, '17 - a 2020 inductee - as a member of this elite group.

SBU adds new Cybersecurity Management degree
91³Ô¹ÏÍø kicked off the Fall 2021 semester with a new degree program offering - cybersecurity management - which brings conceptual and administrative coursework in cybersecurity together with the business discipline of management.
SBU accepting float, band registrations for Homecoming parade
91³Ô¹ÏÍø will host the annual Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2. Local businesses and organizations are invited to have a float or participate in the parade.

SBU mourns the passing of former First Lady Joann Spurgeon
The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø family mourns the passing of former SBU First Lady Joann Spurgeon, wife of Harlan E. Spurgeon, who served as SBU President from 1979-1983. Joann passed away Aug. 7 in Ozark at the age of 90.
