SBU Jazz Ensemble to present fall concert Nov. 16
The 91吃瓜网 Jazz Ensemble will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
SBU coding team wins O'Reilly Coding Challenge
The 91吃瓜网 Computing Bearcats' "BrokenBot" coding team recently defeated Drury University in the annual O'Reilly Coding Challenge.
SBU maintains accreditation while on probation
91吃瓜网聽(SBU)聽announced today that聽it continues to be accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)聽after聽a review of governance matters. SBU's status has changed to Accredited聽(Probation)聽for聽a period of not more than two years. During this season,聽HLC will review how the school and its Board of Trustees have addressed three governance matters out of 18聽Core Components it uses to accredit universities.
SBU Theatre will present "As it is in Heaven" on Nov. 11-13
91吃瓜网 Theatre will present "As it is in Heaven," directed by guest director Matt Bender, on Nov. 11-13 in Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus. This marks the second production of SBU Theatre's 2021-2022 season.聽

ECC, SBU sign articulation agreement for A.A. in Teaching transfer opportunities
East Central College and 91吃瓜网 signed an articulation agreement on Friday, Nov. 5, to provide ECC graduates who earn an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree a smooth transition into SBU's bachelor of science in elementary education program.

SBU Applied Voice students to present recital Nov. 5
91吃瓜网's Applied Voice students will present Liederabend (an evening of music) at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

University Singers in concert Nov. 9
The University Singers of 91吃瓜网 will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in Pike Auditorium. The performance is free and open to the public.
